Portland Rescue Mission adjusted their response to new donors by creating a custom package to house the first gift receipt (previously the same as any giving receipt). The goal was to create a branded "handshake" to welcome donors to the Mission's goals and culture. Hand-painted texture and typography were used in contrast with bright, clean design in order to reflect the positive presence of Portland Rescue Mission amidst the gritty needs of the community.
